It smells like summer!

I'm sooo excited! The sun is shining and it's warm outside. Perfect temperature and a little breeze blowing. Now I don't want to go back to work. I'd rather stay home and ride my horse. I'll be doing some talking to Ron tonight and get him to go for a ride after work. The horses need it but I need it more!

Springtime?

I was really hoping that tonight I was going to be able to get outside and get some yard work done because the weather was going to improve sooo much! Boy, was I wrong! Iwas outside messing with the horses but I was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, Carhart jacket and gloves. It was still to chilly to enjoy. So now I'm in the house, sitting in front of the computer. Another wasted evening!

Rain and more rain!

It's been raining for a week straight and altho we needed it desperately, I'm getting a litte tired of it now! The horses are slogging around in mud and can't find a dry spot in the whole pasture. My flowers, trees and plants look great tho so... We need to get out and use the new boat but until the weather changes we're out of luck there. Maybe next week?
